In 2019, #AsiaRocks Summit gathered 400+ people at Huashan 1914 Cultural Creative Park. Through exhibitions, keynotes, panels and networking events, the summit offers startups across the world unique cross-border, market-entry content, access to key ecosystem players and resources, and all kinds of opportunities.
In 2020, #AsiaRocks Summit was invited to join forces with Meet Taipei, the largest startup festival in Taiwan. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to throw one of the largest startup events physically in Taiwan owing to effective epidemic prevention efforts. In addition to a physical #AsiaRocks pavilion with local Country Ambassadors representing 8 participating markets, ecosystem overview materials were also available on the online exhibition portal and YouTube accessible to global startups. The forum was organized in a hybrid format, with ecosystem overview videos pre-recorded by our partners and with overseas speakers joining us online. The session was broadcasted live on YouTube and was circulated through our partners network to overseas audiences.
In addition to the annual summits, #AsiaRocks hosts and supports gatherings/webinars across Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Thailand, and so forth. All in the name of bringing together the network and resources for startups expanding into the APAC region.
